regional news stating the bleeding obvious
22 March 2009 in politics - ooohYesterday a chinese restaurant burned down in Cambridgeshire. Look East – the BBC’s regional news programme for this area – is always rubbish, but yesterday it excelled itself. Here’s how they ended their report…
“The fire represents a serious setback for this thriving restaurant, and they’ve had to cancel tonight’s 50th anniversary celebratory dinner.”
No shit Sherlock. Give that journalist a raise (or a Pulitzer).
