the world would be a better place without… “The Sun”

13 November 2009 in a pox on...

Who’d a thunk it, eh?

The Sun (who, co-incidentally, have recently switched their allegiance to the Conservative Party) crucified Gordon Brown earlier this week; describing as “unforgiveable” his mis-spelling of the name of a dead soldier’s surname in a personal letter to his mother.

Gordon Brown, who’s half-blind, wrote the name as “James” instead of “Janes” in a hand-written letter.

And then The Sun made the same mistake, using the name “Jones” instead. And they were happy to apologise for their mistake (in a very small block on their website)…

The Sun are hypocrites

The Sun are hypocrites

At least The Guardian – a newspaper that The Sun traditionally can’t stand – has picked up on it. Chortle.

So, a pox on The Sun. They’re idiots.
